Our story

Our Story

Ein Hashofet Lighting Group is a story of Zionism and Israeli pride. Founded in 1967, in the aftermath of the Six-Day War, we began as Eltham Technologies, a young kibbutz-based factory specializing in the production of lighting components and lighting control systems, serving as a source of livelihood for its members. Over the years, driven by a passion for success and a strict professional approach that resulted in exceptional product quality, we grew to become one of Israel's leading lighting suppliers and one of the largest European companies in the field of lighting fixtures and power supplies for the armored vehicle industry. In 2021, we acquired Steinitz-Lird, establishing ourselves as Israel’s leading lighting group.

For nearly 60 years, we have been lighting up Israel—and this is just the beginning. We will continue to bring thousands more points of light to city streets, public buildings, national and historical sites, stadiums and sports fields, museums and cultural institutions, industrial facilities, offices and commercial spaces, and private homes across Israel.
